5. Whether he pushes units or not, one thing you can’t deny about Spitta is his work ethic and the quality of his music. It’s all A+. Everyone knows when a Spitta album is coming out whether they’re going to buy it or not, especially of its the Spring leading into the Summer. Spitta has made my Summers so dope with his albums, Weekend at Burnie’s is definitely not an exception. It’s skip free and great for stoners who are accustomed to what he delivers with his music. I will say that I wish this album was a narrative, with the name and everything it sounds like it could be a story. Thing is he definitely stepped out of the weed rapping, bitch snatching, money making, niggas bitting his style type of flow (never gets old) and took on the story telling thing with “She Don’t Want A Man”. Now that was dead ass poetry, he did it so effortlessly. Who woulda thunk it right? Anyways with that next to his dope lyrics and great beats (If it ain’t Ski make it Monsta), I had this rotating from when I slept till when I woke. Let’s be real, playing #JetsGo on the way to make some money in the AM is surreal. Mind you, the album cover is sick. (Taken with instagram)
